Hayley has been diving since 1993, coming into the sport as an aspiring gymnast. She trained with Adrian Hinchliffe - from beginner lessons to the Senior National Squad at Leeds.
After gaining a national title in 1996, Hayley developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and was forced to stop diving. This continued on and off for over 3 years, but she returned to training in 2000. In 2001 Hayley regained her place on the Junior Olympic Programme, earning her first Great Britain tracksuit.
Hayley can also be found, passing on her knowledge and diving expertise, teaching diving in the Leeds Diving Lessons Scheme. Hayley says: "I really enjoy teaching diving".
