Welcome to the City of Leeds Diving Club
The City of Leeds Diving Club is one of the most successful diving clubs in the country. With over a hundred members, Leeds boasts the greatest number of talented divers in the UK. With divers ranging from beginners to Olympic athletes, Leeds Diving Club really does provide opportunities for all. The club has a range of different squads which ensures that every diver reaches their full potential. As more and more talented athletes begin to emerge, Leeds has high hopes for London 2012.
The Club itself is run by a committee of devoted parents. It hosts two major competitions; G-star Championships and The White Rose Diving Invitational. These two events are organised by the elected committee and volunteers. The competitions give divers at all levels the opportunity to experience competitions against other divers from all over Great Britain.
Numerous methods have been put into place to ensure that communication remains strong between the club and its members. Each month a newsletter is produced with an overview from the senior diving coach as well as reporting on any other significant news in relation to the club. The website also helps strengthen the communication as this is the place where we can get information about upcoming events, achievements and news to you.
