White Rose Event Records

In 2005 the White Rose trialled a new novice circuit style event.  Group E, D and C divers completed 12 diving skills rotating around 3 stations: Poolside, 1 metre and 3 metre. The event ran very successfully using an updated DiveRecorder scoring system and wireless J-Pads.  If we had run the event with each diver diving a competition as normal we would have had over 13 hours of prelim diving, with the circuit style event this was cut to less than 5 hours of diving and made for a very relaxed and fun event.  As this was a new format all the 2005 results were new event records.  The 2006 White Rose event saw some of these records broken.  In 2006 the White Rose event trialled the proposed 2007 ASA National Skills Finals conditions.  In 2007 the White Rose event was inaugural event at the new Aquatics Centre, John Charles Centre for Sport in Leeds.

• Prelim events consist of 12 dives
• Final events consist of 2 x 1m dives and a Line Up.
